Happy Friday, party people. Today I’m locking myself in my office for a write-a-thon. But before I do, a gift.
Even though I’m still writing this book, Orbit’s on top of things well in advance. Yesterday, Lauren Panepinto, the fab designer of my covers, posted the cover for Green-Eyed Demon at the Orbit blog.
Here it is in case you’re too lazy to click.
They went a little different direction this time with a more photorealistic image. I really like the green Lauren chose and I love the wrought iron in the background. The book is set in New Orleans, so it’s perfect. Plus it’s nice for Sabina’s not to be smoldering in a random alley again. Don’t let her coy pose fool you. She can still kick your ass. What do you guys think?

w00t!! Fabulous cover, hon. Looking forward to all the upcoming Sabina books.
Love the cover, Sabina looks cool as always. Love the green on this one too!
Sabina looks cool as always! Makes me so excited to read Mage in Black, then this! Do you know how many books will be in the series?
Have to say it might be my favourite so far…
Sabina is looking pretty tantatilizing these days!
I think I like the realism too. The old Sabina was very good, but not exactly 3D and real. This one adds a different angle to the vibe of the cover. On the other hand, I’m thinking crime fiction for some reason. But still, I like it.
Woot. Awesome cover. Can’t wait to read it.
Oooh! Really nice colors and background. I love it! I love them all. (Impatiently waiting for April Fools to get my hands on MIB.) Question: Is the models hair dyed or do they add the red after the fact. Do you know?
Thanks, guys.
Heather, they add it after. It’s actually pretty amazing how much of the look is created on a computer.
Love it. Can’t wait!
[...] Wells has released the cover for her next Sabina Kane novel. Green-Eyed Demon will be released March [...]
Love your books, love Sabina, can’t what for Green-Eyed Demon!!!
